Accountant required for a fast growing, vibrant, New Zealand owned company.
Aldwin Paige Ltd is a Christchurch based manufacturer and produces a wide range of products on a contract manufacturing basis.
Kiwicare Corporation Ltd operates from the same site, although with a dedicated manufacturing environment, and is manufacturer and distributor of the ‘NO’ range of pest control, garden care and DIY home maintenance products, with nationwide distribution into hardware stores, garden centres, supermarkets and rural supply stores.
Both companies are experiencing high levels of growth and require an accountant to provide support to the Finance Manager across a wide range of functions within both companies.
You will come to us with:
- A degree or AT / ACA qualification or nearing completion of your study towards these.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, standards and processes
- Microsoft Office and General systems Proficiency – Excel, Word & Access to an intermediate level (Pivot Tables, Lookups), Accounting System(s)
- Great attention to detail and an eye for process improvement
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Numerical aptitude as well as ability to interpret and present findings
Your role will include
- Drafting monthly management accounts.
- Maintain fixed assets and ensure transactions are processed in the general ledger
- Work collaboratively on the annual year end accounting process
- Product Costing.
- Supporting the Sales team by providing information and adhoc reports
- Various other accounting functions including Fixed Assets, GST, FBT

Process Workers – Aldwin Paige Ltd
Aldwin Paige Ltd is a Christchurch based manufacturer and produces a wide range of products on a contract manufacturing basis.
We have several casual process worker positions available at our Maces Rd site.
Duties include the following:
- Filling, labelling and packing of liquid and powder products.
- Assisting batching staff.
- Setting up production stations.
- Undertaking cleaning duties as required.
Only those who are physically fit, have a good work record and are quality conscious need apply.
